what makes you think the camera would be cheaper with built-in
memory 
anyway, if you wanna, go look at casios.. not too sure now, but in
the past, they didn't have the external memory media thing, just
internal memory...
btw, SDs, xDs, CFs are really cheap these days.. and you can use
them for other things..
